At the base of the Colorado National Monument, the Haupt Villa’s design takes full advantage of the definitive views that form the backdrop of Stone Canyon Ranch.
The intentions of the design reflect the natural surrounding through material usage and form-making, while creating personable spaces custom to the owners needs and desires. Its ranch-style layout, with a central common core, extends a unified relationship between interior and exterior spaces, a kids’ wing centered around the lifestyles of children, and a master suite oriented toward the dreams of adults. This nuclear area is suitable for entertaining but is intended to harmonize everyday family events.
The tall expanses of windows on the rear of the home allows for a generous amount of natural light while providing panoramic views of the Monument. Timber elements, accent materials like copper and brick, and towering formal expressions articulate the design’s individuality.
