Mission Bell is an amphitheater facility designed with flexibility to provide a venue for outdoor events of many types. The audio, video and lighting equipment design within the structure will provide combinations of flexibility in performances with a stage that is covered by a permanent roof structure allowing shading from the hot summer sun. Events that can be held at the facility are: weddings and receptions, ensemble musical performances, choral or voice performances, small theatrical productions, guest speakers, lectures, and film viewing on its large projection screen. The architectural design consists of stucco and native stone consistent with other resort buildings, but also incorporates arches and copper domes on the roof giving Mission Bell a unique presence on the resort campus.
