Revitalizing the downtown with new housing, offices and job opportunities, retail and cultural centers. Using land planning and designed streetscapes and detailing to create a safer atmosphere throughout the study.
The Historical Depot, the new Convention Center with the pedestrian plaza and Main Street will be integrated with easy flow and coordinated planning. New hybrid zoning will be implemented to enhance housing, office and retail into one type of zone. Streetscape designs will include water elements, artwork, sitting areas, and landscaping and the use of the existing urban fabric as an integrated system to create these spaces.
